A ballistic missile, believed to belong to the terrorist Houthi militia, fell on Sunday in a village in Al-Wadea District in Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen.

According to local sources, the missile, which was likely launched from the Mukayras area in Al Bayda, targeted Mount Anan overlooking the village of Al Mahrouq in the directorate.

The sources added that the missile fragments caused damage to some nearby houses, but fortunately no injuries were recorded among the residents.

It is noteworthy that this incident comes a week after another missile fell near the village of Imdakhla, between the districts of Lawdar and Mudiyah, in a series of repeated incidents targeting civilian areas.

The Houthi militia did not issue any comment on these attacks, which are believed to have targeted the sea.

These attacks represent a continued escalation by the militias, raising concerns about potential harm to civilians and further deteriorating the security situation in the area.
