Al Bayda: Yemen Youth Net - Special
On Monday, clashes erupted between tribal gunmen in the center of the city of Rada'a in Al Bayda Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia in central Yemen, after a gunman killed a person belonging to another tribe.
A tribal source told "Yemeni Youth Net" that a gunman from the "Al-Salahi" family killed a person from the "Al-Jawfi" family, named "Mohammed Abdullah Saeed Qahil Al-Jawfi", near the Haradh restaurant in the center of Rada'a city, due to a tribal vendetta that has been going on for years.
The source explained that following the incident, armed clashes broke out between the two parties and lasted for hours, noting that "the situation is still tense, without any intervention by the Houthi militia security."
It is noteworthy that a person from the Al-Salahi family was killed by gunmen from the Al-Jawfi family about four years ago, amid the increasing cases of murder, security chaos, and the spread of revenge fueled by the militia.
