Today, Monday, the young man, Essam Abdul Latif Bahram, was killed by gunmen in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.

Local sources reported that the crime occurred following an ambush targeting the victim's Jeep on one of the city's streets.

There were conflicting accounts of the motives behind the incident. Some sources attributed the incident to an old feud with a family called “Al-Jubi”, while others suggested that the conflict was due to a dispute over land.

This incident reflects the continued deterioration of the security situation in Sana'a, where crime rates are increasing amid severe security chaos and impunity for perpetrators.

Local reports accuse the Iran-backed Houthi militia of colluding with robbery and looting gangs, deepening the security crisis and increasing the suffering of citizens in areas under their control.
