The International Organization for Migration announced the displacement of 86 Yemeni families during the past week, most of them from Lahj Governorate (south of the country).
The organization said in its weekly report that its displacement tracking matrix in Yemen monitored the displacement of 86 families representing 516 individuals during the period from September 8 to 14.
She stated that the displacement cases originated from Lahj, Marib, Hodeidah and Al Mahwit, and settled in Lahj (59 families), Marib (14 families), Taiz (7 families), Al Dhale’e (5 families), and one family in Hodeidah.
She pointed out that the total number of displaced persons throughout the country rose during the period from January 1 to September 14, 2024, to 2,633 families (15,798 individuals).
