Late yesterday evening, the Iranian-backed Houthi militia announced three new airstrikes in Al Hudaydah Governorate (western Yemen), while the US military confirmed hitting 15 Houthi targets.
The Houthi-affiliated Saba news agency reported that the "American-British aggression" targeted the Al-Jabana area in Hodeidah with three raids, without further details.
Meanwhile, US Central Command ( CENTCOM ) forces said they carried out strikes on 15 Houthi targets in areas controlled by the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen today at around 5 p.m. (Sanaa time).
She added in a statement on the X platform that these targets included "Houthi offensive military capabilities."
She pointed out that these measures were taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for US ships, coalition forces and commercial ships.

Earlier, the militia media announced 15 raids (American-British), including 7 raids in Hodeidah, 4 raids in Sanaa, 3 raids in Al Bayda, and one raid in Dhamar, while Britain denied participating in the attacks.
The Associated Press quoted a US defense official as saying that "US ships and aircraft targeted Houthi weapons systems, bases and other equipment."
