Aden: Yemen Youth Net
The Consultation and Reconciliation Commission supporting the Presidential Leadership Council condemned in the strongest terms the crime committed by the terrorist Houthi militias against innocent civilians in the "Qayfa - Hanaka Al Masoud, Rada'a tribal areas in Al Bayda Governorate", stressing that this terrorist attack is a dangerous escalation that requires a serious review of the reality of the existence of the "truce".
The Authority referred in a statement issued today, Monday, to the Houthi crime, which was represented by heinous terrorist attacks targeting homes and their safe civilian residents, women, the elderly and children, with various types of heavy weapons, including drones, which resulted in a number of martyrs and wounded, in addition to displacing and expelling people, blowing up homes over the heads of their residents, and targeting public property and places of worship.
The statement said, "This cowardly act represents a complete crime, proving once again the terrorist behavior of these rogue militias, and their complete lack of seriousness in any peace or calm, and that the method of killing, subjugating people by force of arms, and practicing terrorism against the Yemenis and breaking their will is the only way in which they believe."
He added that this terrorist attack is a dangerous escalation, which requires a serious review of the reality of the existence of the "truce" that we all claim is in effect, while these militias practice their crimes in this manner, as it is unreasonable for the truce to be a sponsor and cover for these violations and the loss of the lives of our patient and struggling people.
The statement considered that what is happening in Al Bayda is the peak of the Houthi militias’ practices of violating the truce, and not the only terrorist act, as they have previously repeatedly committed numerous violations that varied between targeting civilians and military escalation on the contact sites in Bayhan Shabwa, Al Dhale’e, Lahj, Marib and Taiz, which are supposed to have stopped.
The Consultative Body pointed out that these terrorist militias coordinated operations with the terrorist organizations Al-Qaeda and ISIS to target our forces in Abyan, which confirms that the fixed choice of these militias is war and violence, without any serious intentions to resort to peace and security.
The Authority called on the esteemed Presidential Leadership Council, as the leader of legitimacy, to assume its responsibilities regarding what happened, and to take a series of practical deterrent measures to confront this terrorist group, and to move seriously to protect our people from the terrorist crimes to which they are exposed.
It also called for the importance of following up on what happened, caring for the families of the martyrs and the wounded, and providing the necessary aid and assistance to those affected. It also called for the necessity of condemning these serious violations, and condemning the terrorist Houthi militias and their criminal acts by regional and international actors, the UN envoy, and relevant human rights and humanitarian organizations.
