In this context, he stressed that the Prime Ministry "relies on God Almighty, then on the support of the Presidential Leadership Council, and on the will of our great people who aspire to reform the situation and change the current reality."
The source concluded his statement by stressing "the strength and cohesion of the National Front, and called on all media outlets to be accurate and not to be drawn into lies and incitement that target the unity of the national ranks."
On November 26, Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak left the interim capital, Aden, for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, "to consult with the political leadership, brothers and friends, regarding urgent economic support to overcome the existing challenges and changes in the price of the national currency," according to a responsible government source.
This coincided with news of escalating differences between him and the Chairman of the Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, amid talk of arrangements to carry out a ministerial reshuffle that includes a number of portfolios and the Prime Minister's Office.
Government and presidential sources had previously told Yemen Youth Channel that the disagreements between Al-Alimi and Bin Mubarak came as a result of the latter stopping the disbursement of financial amounts approved by the Chairman of the Leadership Council from the government budget under the name of his “operational budget.”
