Yemeni Political Parties Bloc
Washington called on political parties in Yemen, on Sunday, to abandon differences and unite to confront what it described as "daily challenges."
This came in a tweet published by the US Embassy in Yemen's account on the "X" platform, on the occasion of the International Day of Democracy.
"Now more than ever, Yemenis must put aside their political differences and unite to address the daily challenges they face," US Ambassador to Yemen Fagin was quoted as saying.
She said that "the US Agency for International Development and the National Democratic Institute supported the coalition of political parties and groups in Yemen," stressing that they are "developing a framework for cooperation and progress."
It is noteworthy that the US Agency has worked to support the establishment of the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components, which was announced last April, in the temporary capital, Aden.
At the end of last August, the committee for preparing the documents of the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components, which was assigned by the first meeting of the heads of political parties and components, concluded its work in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
It is expected that the announcement of the National Bloc of Political Parties and Components will be made, which will include in its membership all political parties and components that believe in restoring the state and ending the Houthi coup.

The bloc aims to mobilize all national efforts to support state institutions, unify their decisions, improve their performance in serving citizens and alleviating their suffering.
