Local sources confirmed that the terrorist Houthi militia seized a mosque inside the city of Al-Qaeda, south of Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), the second in a few days, while a number of women's prayer halls were closed in several cities in the governorate.

Yemenis are keen to revive the religious and social rituals of Ramadan, inspired by the culture of expanding the family despite the difficult economic conditions. Ramadan has become in the collective consciousness a season of spending and generosity, even in light of the decline in purchasing power.
