IOM: 15 Yemeni families displaced during the past week

The International Organization for Migration announced the displacement of 15 Yemeni families during the first week of this month, for economic, security and health reasons.
The organization said in its weekly report issued today, Monday, that its displacement tracking matrix monitored the displacement of 15 families (90 individuals) during the period from March 2 to 8.
She explained that the displacement movement originated from Hodeidah, Dhamar, Al Jawf and Taiz and moved to Marib with (12) families and Hodeidah with (3) families.
The report stated that 60% of the total new displacement cases, with 9 families, were displaced due to economic factors related to the conflict, while 5 families, at a rate of 33%, were displaced due to concerns related to safety and security, compared to only one family that was displaced for health reasons.
He noted that 40% of newly displaced families need shelter services, 33% need food supplies, 20% lack financial support, and 7% lack health services.
The report indicated that the total number of displacement cases since the beginning of this year has risen to 384 families (2,304 individuals).
