Since the start of its aggression on Jenin camp in the northern West Bank, which has continued for the 48th consecutive day, the Israeli occupation forces have completely destroyed about 480 homes, according to what journalist Asri Fayyad from the camp confirmed to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

In the latest destruction, the occupation forces blew up a house in the Dabbat al-Ghabz area inside the camp today, Sunday, as part of a series of ongoing violations against residents and infrastructure.

Fayyad confirmed that Jenin camp includes about 3,300 homes, 480 of which were completely destroyed, distributed between burning, demolition, blasting and bulldozing, while the majority of homes were partially damaged by the aggression, while the occupation forces turned some homes into military barracks.

He pointed out that with the continuation of the escalation, the Israeli occupation forces have forced about 18,000 Palestinians from the Jenin camp to flee it so far, amid worsening humanitarian conditions.

The occupation forces continue their aggression on Jenin camp for the forty-eighth day, while they carried out raids in towns and camps in the Jenin and Tubas governorates and continued for several days. They also continue their aggression on the city and camp of Tulkarm for the forty-second consecutive day, as well as the Nour Shams camp for the twenty-ninth consecutive day.

The Israeli military escalation in the camps in the northern West Bank forced tens of thousands of families to flee the camps, amid widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure, in addition to the demolition of a large number of homes.

Since the occupation began its aggression under the name of "Iron Wall" in Jenin on January 21, which later expanded to other cities and camps, the number of martyrs in the West Bank has reached 66, in addition to dozens of injuries and hundreds of detainees, in addition to the demolition of a large number of homes, and there are no accurate statistics yet.

Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that he has instructed the army to continue occupying Palestinian refugee camps in the northern West Bank until the end of this year. Katz said during his participation in the "Federal Zionism" conference in Tel Aviv, the day before yesterday, Friday, according to what was reported by the newspaper Israel Hayom, that he has instructed the Israeli forces to continue occupying Palestinian refugee camps in the West Bank until the end of the year at least.

He acknowledged the displacement of 40,000 people from the Palestinian refugee camps in Jenin, Tulkarm and Nur Shams, against the backdrop of the aggression launched by the Israeli occupation forces for more than a month.
