Trump warns Hamas to release all occupation prisoners and threatens Gazans with "death"

US President Donald Trump warned the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), in what he called their “final warning,” that he would end the movement if it did not immediately release all Israeli prisoners it holds, threatening the people of Gaza with “death.”

“This is your final warning! To the leadership, it is time to leave Gaza. You still have a chance. Also, to the people of Gaza: A beautiful future awaits, but not if you hold hostages. If you do, you are dead!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump said there would be "hell" later if the prisoners were not released.

During Trump's meeting at the White House with the delegation of Israeli detainees released from Gaza, he said, "I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job against Hamas," warning that "no member of Hamas will be safe if you do not do what I say."

Earlier, the American website Axios quoted an informed source as saying that the delegation of Israeli detainees released from Gaza met with Trump at the White House, while the newspaper "Israel Hayom" reported that Trump said during the meeting, "We will get the hostages out" remaining in the Strip.

Channel 12 Israel also reported that the delegation of the prisoners' families told Trump, "You are the hope of the kidnapped."

This came after the American website Axios revealed unprecedented direct talks between Washington and Hamas in Qatar to "release the American hostages in Gaza, discuss a broader agreement to end the war, and reach a long-term truce."

According to the website, US envoy for hostage affairs Adam Boehler participated in the talks that took place in recent weeks, but no agreement has been reached yet.

Channel 14 Israel quoted sources as saying that the Trump administration's talks with Hamas did not change its position on the war.
