Reading the agreement on the Gaza war

Finally, the ceasefire deal was achieved, after fifteen months, or after 464 days of the war of aggression launched by the Zionist entity, led by Netanyahu, and supported by Western countries in general, especially US President Joe Biden, against the resistance: (Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and Saraya al-Quds), and especially against the Palestinian people, and the destruction of homes, institutions and hospitals in the Gaza Strip.

Nearly fifteen months of ground war, to eliminate the resistance forces, as the first goal of the aggressive military war, and as a second goal, to release those they called the kidnapped (prisoners), and as a third goal, to force the displacement of hundreds of thousands, outside the Gaza Strip.

And almost fifteen months of a war of genocide: the mass killing of unarmed civilians who had no way of escaping, defending themselves, or preventing unparalleled massacres, in addition to the destruction of buildings estimated at more than 80% of homes, mosques, churches, schools, and hospitals (all destroyed).

Already fifteen months of mass killing that has killed nearly fifty thousand martyrs. And nearly one hundred and twenty thousand wounded men, women, and children.

The killing took place throughout those months, day after day, and even hour after hour, which emptied the Zionist entity’s stock of missiles and shells. If it weren’t for the continuous American and European supply, the crime of genocide and near-total destruction would have continued without stopping.

This is despite the enormous pressures that have erupted, on a global, popular and international level, which were supposed to stop the war of extermination and destruction, perhaps from the first month, or the first months, had it not been for the pathological criminal stubbornness that Netanyahu has been afflicted with, and had it not been for the continuous support from US President Biden, who allowed Netanyahu and the Zionist army to continue the aggression in the ground war, and in the war of human extermination, by providing all American and Western pressures to obstruct global protests, and humanitarian pressures to stop these crimes that violate international laws, and human, religious and moral values.

Here the question arises, after noting what resulted from the mass killing of civilians, in terms of destroying the reputation of the Zionist entity, as a killer of children and civilians. It spent billions to appear as an entity that respects international laws, democracy and human rights. In addition to claiming that it is the heir to the Holocaust, and emerged from the injustice of Western and Nazi racial discrimination.

The disgrace that has befallen the image of the Zionist entity (and Western civilization as well) will be a historical disgrace for the coming days and years, which will lead to the transformation of the Zionist entity into a "rogue state" that has lost the legitimacy of its right to exist in Palestine. It is already so, because it is a colonial, settlement, uprooting and substitution project that tried to cover itself with the international partition resolution 181 of 1947, which approved the establishment of a state in Palestine. This, in turn, is an illegitimate resolution that violates international law and the United Nations Charter.

The question is, what prompted Netanyahu to do the impossible in his stubbornness, to continue his two aggressive wars against the resistance and the people in the Gaza Strip. This was under the pretext of responding to the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 7. This is part of the right of resistance.

Noting that the result it reached in the last agreement on 1/15/2025 was a complete failure to achieve the goals it declared in launching the two wars and continuing them for fifteen months.

This is despite the fact that the military failure in the ground war was clear from its first month, if not its first week.

But Netanyahu decided to ignore the ongoing military losses in the ground war, which a number of military personnel, including the Pentagon, indicated would mean that the war would be a losing one, and would be unable to eliminate Hamas or achieve its goals.

It seemed, since the first month, that the war of human extermination and the almost total, wanton destruction of buildings would have the most dire consequences and the worst reputation for the Zionist entity.

Here the question arises, how can this stubbornness be explained, to continue a losing ground war? And a reputation-destroying war of extermination? The answer lies in Netanyahu himself, who sought refuge in continuing the two wars, to preserve his government, from the resignation of Ben Gvir and Smotrich, and also out of fear of the trial that awaits him, due to corruption cases, in addition to his accountability, regarding his responsibility, for the success of Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa.

This explains Netanyahu's detachment from the reality that required him not to expose his army to losing a war against the resistance, and not to expose the reputation of the Zionist entity to a disaster, due to the war of extermination.

Thus, Netanyahu put narrow personal interests ahead of respecting the balance of power and avoiding a military defeat, as is happening now before us in the agreement of January 15, 2025.

Indeed, Netanyahu would not have agreed to sign this agreement and not continue the war had it not been for fear of Donald Trump, who has declared his keenness not to assume his presidential responsibilities unless the war is stopped, which could lead to the release of the hostages: Trump’s ultimate goal.
