Reuters: Biden and Macron to announce truce agreement between Hezbollah and Israel

Reuters reported, citing four senior Lebanese sources, on Monday, that US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron are expected to announce a ceasefire between the Lebanese Hezbollah group and Israel within 36 hours under existing plans.
The French presidency and the White House did not immediately respond to requests for comment, according to the agency.
Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported earlier that Biden and Macron will announce a 60-day ceasefire on Tuesday.
Officials in Washington declined to comment when asked about a possible announcement on Tuesday. In Paris, officials would only say that talks were underway.
