Saudi Arabia affirmed that the Kingdom's position on the establishment of a Palestinian state is firm, steadfast and unwavering, and that this firm position is not subject to negotiation or outbidding. After a series of statements made by Trump confirming the displacement of Palestinians.
This came in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which confirmed that “the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the establishment of the Palestinian state is a firm, unwavering position, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has confirmed this position in a clear and explicit manner that does not allow for any interpretation under any circumstances.”
The statement added that Prince Mohammed bin Salman stressed that Saudi Arabia "will not stop its tireless work towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and that the Kingdom will not establish diplomatic relations with Israel without that."
The statement stressed what Saudi Arabia had previously announced, "its absolute rejection of any infringement on the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, whether through Israeli settlement policies, annexation of Palestinian lands, or attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land. The duty of the international community today is to work to alleviate the harsh human suffering that the Palestinian people are suffering from, as they will remain committed to their land and will not budge from it."
The statement concluded by saying that the Kingdom affirms that "this firm position is not subject to negotiation or outbidding, and that a lasting and just peace cannot be achieved without the Palestinian people obtaining their legitimate rights in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, and this is what was previously explained to the previous American administration and the current administration."

Trump renews his position on displacement
US President Donald Trump renewed his support on Wednesday for the plan to permanently displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to other countries, considering that the solution to the conflict lies in the Palestinians leaving Gaza, and that there are countries other than Jordan and Egypt that will accept to house them.
Trump's remarks came during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, ahead of bilateral talks between them.
"The people in Gaza have been through hell, it's not a place to live, and I don't think they should come back; you can't live in Gaza now. I think we need another location. I think it should be a location that makes people happy," Trump said.
"Gaza has never worked and if we can find suitable land and build beautiful places that would be better than returning to Gaza," he said. "When you look at the past decades, all you see in Gaza is death. This has been happening for years."
He said he wanted people in Gaza to "find a suitable place to live. What is happening in the tunnels and elsewhere is chaos," adding that "the people of Gaza have seen nothing but death and destruction."
He continued, promoting his plan: “What if we could find a beautiful area to resettle people permanently in good homes, where they can be happy, and not be shot or killed like they are in Gaza.”
