Hamas: Israel does not respond to withdrawal from Gaza or ceasefire

The channel quoted Israeli officials as saying that there is significant progress in the negotiations, although it is too early to say that the agreement is ready.

On Friday, the Israeli delegation returned to Doha to resume indirect negotiations with Hamas, mediated by Qatar and Egypt.

The families of the Israeli prisoners in Gaza are demanding that Netanyahu give the delegation full authority to reach a swap deal.

On December 25, Hamas accused Israel of “setting new issues and conditions related to the withdrawal (from Gaza), the ceasefire, the prisoners, and the return of the displaced, which delayed reaching an agreement that was available.”

Hamas confirmed in a statement at the time that this was happening despite the fact that the negotiations were “progressing seriously in Doha” and despite its showing “responsibility and flexibility” to make them a success.
