About 210 Palestinians, most of them children, were killed in violent and widespread Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip early Tuesday morning, after the Israeli occupation army announced the resumption of its genocidal war.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, "199 martyrs were killed in Israeli airstrikes, most of them in Khan Younis." This statistic was reported at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, and is expected to rise in the coming hours as the airstrikes continue and victims are recovered.

Sources reported that "martyrs and wounded were reported in the targeting of the Al-Batsh building in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip." Rescue crews are facing extreme difficulty in reaching the targeted areas due to the ongoing heavy Israeli bombardment.

Paramedics reported that several civilians were killed and dozens injured when the occupation forces bombed the tents of displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. The majority of the martyrs were from Khan Yunis. Civilians were also killed when the occupation forces bombed a house in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis.

Citizens were also killed and several others injured when the occupation forces bombed a school housing displaced persons in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City, three homes on Al-Sina'a Street in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, and in Al-Bureij and the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Concurrent with the violent airstrikes targeting the area, Israeli tanks shelled the eastern areas of the town of Abasan in Khan Yunis, as well as the southern and eastern areas of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, along with intense gunfire.

The Israeli military announced early Tuesday morning that Hamas had rejected the offers it received from US envoy Steve Witkoff and other mediators, in a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on January 19.

"Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yisrael Katz have instructed the IDF to act forcefully against Hamas in the Gaza Strip," a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office said, adding, "We are now attacking Hamas in the Gaza Strip to achieve the war objectives set by the political leadership."

For its part, Hamas said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government were resuming their war of genocide against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip by reversing the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on January 19.

This came in a statement issued by the movement early Tuesday morning, after Israel resumed its massive aggression on the Gaza Strip with a series of airstrikes that resulted in dozens of deaths, with the exact toll still unclear.

The movement added in the statement: "Netanyahu and his Nazi government are resuming their aggression and genocidal war against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip." "Netanyahu and his extremist government are making a decision to overturn the ceasefire agreement and are exposing the prisoners in Gaza to an unknown fate."

The movement held Netanyahu and his government "fully responsible for the repercussions of the treacherous aggression on Gaza and the defenseless civilians who have been subjected to a brutal war and a systematic policy of starvation (since March 2, when Israel closed the crossings to humanitarian aid)."

Hamas called on mediators to "hold Netanyahu and his government fully responsible for violating and overturning the agreement," calling on the United Nations and the UN Security Council to convene urgently to adopt a resolution obligating Israel to halt its aggression.
