18 Palestinians were killed and others were injured at dawn on Sunday as a result of Israeli air strikes targeting various areas in the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to a genocide that has been ongoing for 14 months.

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 8 Palestinians were killed and others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombardment that targeted a school housing displaced people in the Al-Daraj neighbourhood, east of Gaza City.

In Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, 6 Palestinians were killed in a bombing that targeted a house. Al Jazeera's correspondent said that the search is ongoing for missing persons under the rubble of the targeted 4-storey house, noting that the building was housing a large number of displaced people.

Also in the central region, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that Israeli shelling targeted a house north of the Nuseirat camp, resulting in the deaths of 4 people.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation army requested the immediate evacuation of Kamal Adwan Hospital.

Al Jazeera obtained exclusive footage showing wounded women and children crowded into one of the hospital's corridors, after all the hospital's rooms and departments were subjected to gunfire and artillery shelling from Israeli vehicles that penetrated the hospital's vicinity in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip.

Pictures showed the occupation forces firing directly at the hospital, where there were dozens of medical staff, wounded and sick children and women inside the hospital.

Kamal Adwan Hospital Director Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya said that the Israeli occupation is bombing the hospital directly and without prior warning, noting that the occupation requested the evacuation of the hospital within hours. Abu Safiya held the international community responsible for what the occupation forces are committing in Gaza.

For his part, the Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Munir Al-Barsh, announced that the hospital's situation is "catastrophic" as it has been subjected to an "unprecedented" Israeli attack, adding that the occupation targeted the hospital with sniper fire and tank shells at its various departments.

Since last October, the occupation has continued to target the hospital, resulting in deaths and injuries among patients and medical staff, in addition to causing significant damage to it.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving nearly 153,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and elderly people.

Tel Aviv continues its massacres, ignoring two arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court on November 21 against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians in Gaza.
