A woman and a man were killed in two mine explosions left by the terrorist Houthi militia in the governorates of Hodeidah and Taiz, west and southwest of Yemen.
Human rights sources said that a woman in her late fifties was killed on Wednesday as a result of a Houthi mine explosion in the Al-Sala’a area, east of the airport in Al-Hawak District in the city of Hodeidah.
The sources added that the incident occurred while the victim was collecting firewood.
In another incident, the Yemeni Mine Observatory reported the death of citizen (Ali Rajih Al-Habasi - early sixties) when a Houthi mine exploded while he was grazing livestock in the Mawzaa district, west of Taiz Governorate.

Hodeidah and Taiz are among the Yemeni governorates most contaminated with mines planted by the terrorist Houthi militia on a large scale, especially in the coastal strip of the two governorates. Their incidents have caused the death and injury of thousands of civilians over the past years.
