Aden.. Transitional forces kidnap imam and preacher of a mosque in Mansoura District

On Friday, the forces of the Transitional Council, backed by the UAE, kidnapped an imam and preacher of a mosque, after he left Friday prayers, in the Mansoura district, north of the interim capital, Aden, in the south of the country.

Local sources said that security belt forces kidnapped the imam of Saad bin Muadh Mosque, Sheikh Athir Al-Khalaki, in the city of Mansoura, after he left the Friday sermon and prayers, and took him to an unknown location.

The sources reported that Al-Khalaki had criticized in the sermon the silence of Arabs and Muslims regarding the Palestinian issue.

The sources indicated that there is an official memorandum from the Director of Mansoura District addressing the Director of Endowments in Aden, "Mohammed Al-Wali", regarding the suspension of any procedures against the Imam of Saad bin Muadh Mosque, as they are based on incorrect allegations.
