Houthi militia members attacked an orange vendor in the city of Ibb (central Yemen), confiscating his merchandise and car, two days after a similar attack on garlic agencies in Sana'a.

Activists on social media posted a video clip of Houthi elements storming the wholesale fruit and vegetable market in downtown Ibb and assaulting an orange vendor.

Activists added that Houthi elements confiscated the seller's car and the merchandise inside, without knowing the reasons.

The Houthi militia exploits the month of Ramadan to impose taxes on vendors and merchants in areas under its control, deploying thousands of its members in the streets and markets to collect money under the guise of "zakat."
