Israel launched a series of raids today, Thursday, targeting Sana'a International Airport and Hodeidah Port. The aggressive attacks resulted in the death and injury of a number of civilians.
The occupation raids targeted the Sana'a International Airport hall and the airport runway, destroying large parts of them, in addition to the Haiz power station, and also targeted other infrastructure in the port of Hodeidah.
The airstrikes on Sanaa airport took place while a UN negotiating team was present, including World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
Houthi media reported that the Israeli raids on Yemen resulted in the death of 3 people and the injury of 11 others. The World Health Organization also announced that a member of its plane crew was injured while he was at the airport leaving on a UN mission.

The occupation army announced that it had attacked Houthi targets in Sanaa and Hodeidah, and ministers and officials in the occupation government continued their threats to launch more attacks on the Houthis, but all the attacks carried out by the occupation only targeted civilian facilities.
A Hebrew website reported that about 25 Israeli aircraft participated in the attack, including fighter jets, reconnaissance planes, and refueling planes. The occupation army - which targeted civilian facilities in Sanaa and Hodeidah - claimed that "the Houthis are using this infrastructure to transport Iranian combat equipment."
For its part, the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas condemned the Israeli bombing that targeted sites in Yemen, describing it as a "blatant attack with American political and military cover."
Hamas said in a statement: "We condemn the Zionist aggression on Yemen, and we consider it an extension of the policy of terrorism pursued by the occupation government against our Palestinian people and the peoples of the region, with political and military support from Washington and some Western capitals."
She pointed out that "Zionist arrogance and its crimes against our people and Yemen require a firm Arab and Islamic stance of solidarity and unity to confront the occupation's violations and deter it from the illusions of control and subjugation that it seeks towards the region and its peoples."
This is the fourth aggression targeting Yemeni facilities by the Israeli occupation. The Israeli enemy army announced the implementation of aggressive attacks at dawn last Thursday, December 19, targeting power stations in the capital, Sana'a, and the ports of Hodeidah, resulting in the martyrdom of 9 civilians.
The occupation army began launching attacks on Yemen in July 2024 by launching dozens of raids targeting the ports of Hodeidah, western Yemen, which resulted in widespread destruction of the port's infrastructure. No Israeli attacks targeting Houthi military capabilities were detected.
