Houthi militias target residential areas in Al Dhale and Lahj governorates, no casualties

During the past hours, the terrorist Houthi militias launched shelling with various types of heavy and medium weapons targeting populated areas in the southern governorates of Al Dhale and Lahj.

The Yemeni Armed Forces' spokesman, September Net, quoted informed sources as saying that the Houthi militias launched a tank shelling attack targeting civilians and civilian objects in the Hajar area, north of Al Dhale'e.

According to the sources, the bombing caused panic among the residents after one of the shells fell near a number of children who were playing in the town of “Bajah”. They pointed out that no casualties resulted from the targeting.

In the same context, the terrorist militia launched a random mortar shelling targeting citizens’ homes in the town of “Al-Qurain” north of “Al-Masemir” district in Lahj governorate.

This Houthi escalation comes amid the continuation of the UN truce that was announced in April 2022, and UN attempts to start the peace process in Yemen.

The Houthi movements in a number of governorates indicate their rejection of all peaceful solutions, and the continued mobilization to various battlefronts with different justifications and allegations, confirming their determination to continue their war against the Yemenis.
