Minister of Justice discusses with French Ambassador support for judicial work in Yemen

Today, Monday, the Minister of Justice, Judge Badr Al-Ardah, discussed with the French Ambassador to Yemen, Catherine Qarm Kamoun, and her accompanying delegation, prospects for joint cooperation in the judicial field and ways to implement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the judicial system in a way that contributes to improving the justice environment and consolidating the rule of law.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Ministry’s Undersecretaries and the Head of the Technical Office, the Minister of Justice reviewed the programs implemented by the Ministry in the areas of building the capacities of judicial and administrative cadres, and projects to develop the infrastructure of the judicial system.
According to Saba News Agency, Al-Arda stressed the importance of partnership with the French side to support efforts to improve judicial work and develop administrative performance in line with current challenges.
For her part, the French Ambassador affirmed her country's commitment to supporting the Ministry of Justice's projects and enhancing judicial and administrative capacity building in Yemen.
She stressed the importance of continuing coordination between the two countries to strengthen partnerships that serve Yemen's stability and enhance the rule of law.
