A citizen was killed and another was injured, today, Sunday, in clashes between tribal gunmen in the coastal Ahwar district, in Abyan Governorate, in the south of the country.
A local source told "Yemeni Youth Net" that armed clashes broke out today between gunmen from the "Al Dawla" and "Al Yaslam" tribes, in the middle of the public market in Ahwar District in Abyan Governorate.
The source stated that the clashes resulted in the death of one of the shoppers named "Adel Awad Aqil Shabea" and the serious injury of another person named "Abdullah Shukri Al-Dawli".
According to the source, the clashes were the result of a previous blood feud between the two tribes, noting that the dead man had nothing to do with the blood feud that sparked the clashes.
