Second within hours.. A soldier was injured in an attack targeting a Transitional Forces site east of Abyan

A soldier was injured, Sunday evening, in an attack by armed elements believed to belong to Al-Qaeda, in Wadi Omran, Mudiyah District, Abyan Governorate, in the second attack within hours.

A local source told "Yemeni Youth Net" that armed elements attacked a site of the Second Support and Reinforcement Brigade forces, on Sunday evening, in the Al-Baghira area, in Wadi Omran, in Mudiyah District, in Abyan Governorate.

The source explained that the Transitional Forces clashed with the armed elements and forced the latter to retreat, which resulted in the injury of a soldier in the Second Support and Reinforcement Brigade named "Saleh Ahmed Al-Junaidi."

Earlier today, an explosive device exploded in a military vehicle of the Third Support and Reinforcement Brigade forces on the main road in the Qarn Amaram area on the main road in Mudiyah District, resulting in the injury of five soldiers, including the commander of the Third Battalion in the brigade, "Mohammed Mujam."

For more than two years, the Transitional Council forces have been subjected to targeting and armed attacks by elements believed to belong to Al-Qaeda, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries among those forces.
