Taiz.. Houthi shelling of "Sabr" and thwarting of an infiltration attempt by the militia on the Al-Kadha front

Last night, the joint government forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by the Houthi militia into their positions on the Al-Kadha front, west of Taiz, coinciding with the militia's shelling of Mount Saber, south of the city.

The military media of the National Resistance, led by Presidential Council member Tariq Saleh, reported that "units of the Third Commando Brigade engaged in clashes with medium weapons with the Iranian Houthi militia after monitoring the latter's movements and attempts to infiltrate with dozens of its members to hills overlooking the contact lines in the Al-Kadha sector."

He stressed that the clashes, which lasted for about an hour, inflicted direct casualties on the Iranian Houthi militia and forced them to retreat.

At the same time, several explosions were heard in the city of Taiz, while the city was witnessing the torch ceremony commemorating the February 11 Revolution.

The deputy of the Moral Guidance Division in the Taiz axis, Colonel Abdul Basit Al-Bahr, said that a Houthi militia tank from the eastern front of the city was targeted with two shells towards Jabal Saber, without further details.

During the past days and weeks, the Houthi militia has intensified its hostile operations against government forces’ positions on various fronts in the country.
