Within one day... the Interior Ministry announces the issuance of more than 5,000 passports in the liberated governorates

The Yemeni Ministry of Interior said that the Immigration, Passports and Nationality Authority issued 5,674 passports yesterday, Tuesday, in all branches of the Authority in the liberated governorates and foreign missions.

This came in a statement published by the Ministry on its official website in which it explained that the daily statistics of the Immigration, Passports and Nationality Authority were 1,853 passports issued through foreign missions, 1,004 passports by the Authority’s branch in the temporary capital, Aden, and 957 passports by the Authority’s branch in Khor Maksar.

The Ministry explained that Taiz Passports issued 775 passports, while Al-Khawkha Passports issued 414 passports, Shabwa Governorate issued 298 passports, Al-Mahra Governorate Passports issued 150 passports, Ma’rib Governorate Passports issued 93 passports, the Passports Branch in Sayun issued 47 passports, and the Department of Passports Branch in Mukalla issued 38 passports.
