The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has reiterated its support for international efforts to bring peace to Yemen.
Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Al Jaber said in a post on the X platform on Monday that he met with the Iraqi Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman and non-resident to Yemen, Qais Al Ameri, and discussed with him the latest developments in the Yemeni crisis.
He added that he reviewed with Al-Ameri the Kingdom's political, humanitarian, economic and development efforts in Yemen.
The meeting also discussed the Kingdom's support for peace efforts in Yemen, the efforts of the UN Special Envoy to Yemen, and the roadmap between the Yemeni parties to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis.
I was pleased to meet the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Sultanate of Oman and non-resident to the Republic of Yemen, Mr. Qais Al-Amri.
