The Yemeni Armed Forces' mouthpiece, the 26 September newspaper, called on Thursday for the exploitation of favorable international and regional developments, most notably the recent US strikes and the designation of the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization, to push for the liberation of the capital, Sana'a, and the port of Hodeidah.
In its weekly editorial, titled "A Critical Moment," the newspaper considered these developments an opportunity that should not be wasted to end the Iranian-backed Houthi project, stressing that "any postponement of military action serves the interests of the militia, which continues its crimes against the Yemeni people, including killing, displacement, looting, and distorting awareness."
She stressed the need to mobilize all military, political, and media energies to unify the national ranks and direct efforts toward the central goal of restoring the state.
The editorial also stressed the importance of unifying the armed forces, with all their formations, under a unified command, and unifying media discourse to confront Iran's expansionist project.
In this regard, she stressed that national unity is the fundamental pillar for achieving victory and ending Houthi hegemony once and for all.
She reiterated that continued inaction and hesitation will only prolong the national suffering, noting that future generations will not forgive any party that neglects this critical moment, which could determine Yemen's future for decades to come.
