The Yemeni army announces the thwarting of hostile operations by the Houthi militia and the destruction of heavy machinery and equipment in Marib and Al-Jawf

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced today, Saturday, the thwarting of a number of hostile attempts by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime, on several combat fronts in the Ma'rib and Al-Jawf governorates in the northeast of the country.

The Ministry of Defense website, September Net, quoted military sources as saying, "The heroes of our armed forces thwarted hostile operations by the Houthi militias on the Raghwan front, north of Ma'rib Governorate, and forced them to retreat and flee."

The sources added that the armed forces inflicted losses on the militias in lives and equipment, while one of our armed forces heroes was martyred and others were injured.

At the same time, the Houthi militias, supported by the Iranian regime, continued their hostile actions by targeting our forces’ positions in various sectors with heavy artillery, Katyusha rockets, drones, and sniper weapons.

She stated that the armed forces succeeded in damaging and destroying heavy machinery and equipment belonging to the militias in several sectors on the fronts of the Ma'rib and Al-Jawf governorates, which the militias were using to create fortifications and pave new roads in the front areas.

During the past weeks, the terrorist Houthi militias, supported by the Iranian regime, have sent transport equipment and excavators to the contact areas and are creating trenches and building earthen barriers, in addition to planting mines in many areas.
