US Army Targets Houthi Weapons Storage Facilities in Amran and Sana'a

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it carried out several precision strikes on Wednesday against two underground weapons storage facilities belonging to the Iranian-backed Houthis inside the territory they control in Yemen.
The military command statement explained that the Houthis used these two facilities to launch attacks against US Navy warships and commercial vessels in the southern Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
He confirmed that there were no injuries or damage to US forces or their equipment, noting that these strikes are part of the Central Command's efforts to reduce the attempts of the Iranian-backed Houthis to threaten regional partners and military and commercial ships in the region.
For its part, Houthi media said that the American-British aircraft targeted Harf Sufyan District (Amran Governorate) with 5 raids and Jarban area in Sanhan District in Sana'a Governorate with 2 raids.
In recent months, the Iran-backed Houthi group has intensified its attacks on US ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
