The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that the political level is considering launching a fourth attack on targets of the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen, and that the Israeli army has already begun to formulate plans for the attack.

For his part, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz renewed his threats to the Houthis, as he threatened, during his inspection of one of the sites of the "Hetz" air defense system, or the arrow, which intercepted the ballistic missile launched from Yemen, to target the Houthi leaders in Sanaa, and in every inch of Yemen, as he put it.

In light of the escalation and Israeli threats to launch a new attack on Houthi sites in Yemen, the health authorities affiliated with the militia directed to raise the readiness of hospitals in the capital, Sana'a, which is under their control.

The Health Office in the capital, affiliated with the militia, issued a circular to all public and private hospitals to raise readiness in all departments, blood banks and ambulances in anticipation of any emergency.

The circular added that these instructions come based on the Ministry of Health circular issued on December 23, to confront the "exceptional circumstances that our country is going through as a result of the brutal Israeli aggression."

Since the start of the Israeli war of extermination on Gaza in October 2023, Israel has launched three air strikes on Yemen, the last of which was on December 19, targeting the ports of Hodeidah and energy facilities, under the pretext of responding to missile and drone attacks launched by the Houthis on Israel, or those attacks targeting ships linked to it in the Red Sea.
