Yemen...The Supreme Resistance Council condemns in the strongest terms the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh

Today, Wednesday, the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance in Yemen condemned in the strongest terms the assassination of the head of the Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas, in a Zionist raid in Tehran.

The Council said, "The Supreme Council of Popular Resistance mourns to our Yemeni people, the Arab and Islamic nation, and the free people of the world, the martyr Mujahid leader Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas, who died in a treacherous Zionist raid on his residence in Tehran."

The statement added that the martyr Ismail Haniyeh ended his life “with the honor of martyrdom in the greatest battle waged by the heroic Palestinian people on behalf of the nation in the face of the occupying Zionist enemy connected to endless amounts of Western political, weapons and technological support.”

He continued: “The Supreme Council of Popular Resistance condemns in the strongest terms this heinous crime that targeted one of the most important leaders of the valiant Palestinian resistance and head of the Hamas movement, Sheikh Ismail Haniyeh, who met his Lord with an unplanned arrival, in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, which has been ongoing for ten months, and which was recorded.” In which the Palestinian people remain the most wonderful images of heroism, steadfastness, valor and patience, despite death, hunger, displacement and disappointment, to confirm that victory over the Zionist project is an inevitable issue without a doubt, and that the processions of martyrs, headed by the great leaders, represent the tidings and introductions to the victory of the just Palestinian cause.

The Council expressed its condolences to the family of the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh and to the Palestinian people, praying to God Almighty to reside in the highest paradise in Paradise with the prophets, the truthful ones and the martyrs, and that his martyrdom would herald an imminent victory over the Zionists who are aggressors on the path to liberating the land and establishing the Palestinian state with its capital, Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

On Wednesday morning, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced the martyrdom of the head of its political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, in an assassination operation during a treacherous Zionist raid on his residence in Tehran.
