The US Central Command said in a statement that it targeted a Houthi command and control facility, and advanced conventional weapons production and storage facilities.
The statement confirmed that the targeted facilities were used by the Houthis to attack warships and commercial ships, noting the destruction of "a Houthi coastal radar site, 7 cruise missiles, and attack drones over the Red Sea."
The British newspaper, The Times, quoted an Israeli security source as saying that Israel "is now entering into a full-fledged war with the Houthis," and that there is "an escalation plan against them."
