"Usha" Climate Newsroom Holds Seminar on Climate Change and Food Security Challenges in Yemen

Climate Newsroom (Usha) is a media initiative concerned with climate.
The Climate Newsroom in Yemen will hold an electronic seminar next Tuesday on climate change and food security challenges in Yemen, and invite Yemeni journalists to participate in the seminar, in which an initiative to produce journalistic content will be announced.
The symposium will be held electronically via Zoom application next Tuesday, October 29, at 4:00 PM Sana'a time, under the title: "Climate Change in Yemen: Challenges to Food Security and the Importance of Proactive Media Awareness."
The Climate and Environmental Rights Newsroom (Usha) is a Yemeni media initiative concerned with climate and environmental issues in Yemen. During the symposium, it intends to launch the start of work on media awareness and focus on the state of adaptation to climate change and environmental issues by producing journalistic content.
Dr. Abdul Qader Al-Kharraz, Climate Change and Environmental Assessment Consultant, will speak at the symposium about the impact of climate change on food security in Yemen, highlighting possible solutions for adaptation, such as improving sustainable agriculture and irrigation techniques.
Journalist Suhair Abdul Jabbar, who specializes in climate and environmental journalism, will also discuss the importance of the role of proactive media in promoting environmental awareness, mitigating risks associated with climate change, spreading sustainable environmental knowledge, and directing society towards adopting environmentally friendly practices.
At the end of the symposium, an announcement will be made to open the door to receiving proposals for writing journalistic content on climate and environmental issues, giving journalists and creatives the opportunity to submit their proposals to produce distinguished media content using various journalistic formats.
The Climate Newsroom (Osha) invites Yemeni journalists and those interested in climate and environmental issues to participate in the symposium.
