Arsenal clinched the London derby with a precious 1-0 victory over visiting Chelsea. Fulham also defeated Tottenham on Sunday in the 29th round of the English Premier League.
Spaniard Mikel Merino scored the only goal of the match in the 20th minute, bringing Arsenal's tally to 58 points with their first domestic win in four matches, moving them 12 points behind leaders Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Chelsea suffered their eighth defeat, leaving their tally at 49 points, missing the chance to move one point clear of fourth-placed Manchester City, who were held to a 2-2 draw by Brighton on Saturday.

Fulham beat Tottenham
Tottenham's domestic woes deepened with their second defeat in three matches (one draw), coming at the hands of their hosts and neighbours Fulham, 2-0, in another London derby.
Brazilian substitute Rodrigo Muniz opened the scoring with a shot from inside the penalty area (78), and another substitute, Ryan Sessegnon, added the second two minutes after entering with a beautiful shot from a long pass from German goalkeeper Bernd Leno (86).
Tottenham's tally remained at 34 points, in 13th place, after its 14th league loss. Fulham, on the other hand, climbed to eighth place with 45 points, boosting its hopes of securing a European spot.
