Inter Miami announced that its Argentine star, Lionel Messi, suffered an ankle ligament injury that will keep him out of action for an unspecified period.
The American club published a statement on its official website in which it revealed that Messi had undergone medical tests, which revealed a ligament injury in his right ankle, which he suffered in the Copa America final against Colombia.
The club did not mention the period of Messi’s absence from the stadiums, indicating that this is related to the periodic evaluations of his condition and the extent of the progress of his recovery.
