The United States strongly condemns the Houthi crimes against civilians in Al Bayda Governorate

The United States of America condemned, on Saturday, the crimes of the terrorist Houthi militia against civilians in Al Bayda Governorate (central Yemen), stressing that these crimes deprive Yemenis of peace.
US Ambassador to Yemen Stephen Fagin said in a statement of condemnation published by the embassy’s account on the X platform: “We strongly condemn the Houthi attacks targeting innocent civilians in Al Bayda Governorate.”
He added, "The killings, injuries and unlawful arrests committed by the Houthi terrorists against innocent Yemenis deprive the Yemeni people of peace and a bright future."

For several days now, the terrorist Houthi militia has been waging a military campaign that is still ongoing against the residents of Al-Hanaka village in Qifah Rada’a in Al-Bayda Governorate.
According to human rights and civil society organizations, the Houthi attacks, which intensified last Thursday, resulted in the killing and wounding of 13 civilians, including children and women, in addition to the destruction and burning of a number of civilian facilities and places of worship and the displacement of hundreds of families.
