The terrorist Houthi militia stormed a Salafi mosque in the city of Khamer in Amran Governorate (northern Yemen), and kidnapped a Salafi sheikh and a number of students from inside the mosque.

Local sources said that a Houthi campaign led by Abu Ghaleb Al-Ghaili, who was appointed as the deputy director of security for the Khamer district, stormed the mosque of Salafi Sheikh Ayedh Mismar, located in the center of the city of Khamer, on Friday evening, and kidnapped students who had arrived from Sana’a to spend the night in the mosque and give religious lessons there.

The sources added that during its campaign, the militia kidnapped one of the most prominent Salafist preachers in the directorate, Sheikh Khaled Masart, and 8 students, and took them to the Khamer Security Administration prison.

The sources indicated that the Houthi campaign closed the mosque after the raid and kidnapping campaign.
