Real Madrid draw at Rayo Vallecano and stumble in achieving a comeback

The match between Real Madrid and host Rayo Vallecano ended in an exciting draw with three goals each on Saturday in the seventeenth round of the Spanish Football League.

The home side struck hard, scoring two early goals through Unai Lopez in the fourth minute and Abdelmoumen in the 36th minute, before Real Madrid rose up and scored three consecutive goals through Federico Valverde in the 39th minute, Jude Bellingham in the 45th minute and Rodrygo in the 56th minute.

After everyone thought that Real Madrid was on its way to achieving a great comeback outside its home base, Rayo came back and equalized through its striker Isaac Palazon, who scored the third goal for the home team in the 64th minute.

Real Madrid raised its score to 37 points in second place temporarily, while Rayo Vallecano raised its score to 20 points in thirteenth place.

In another match, Sevilla returned to winning ways, after defeating its guest, Celta Vigo, by one goal to none.

Sevilla, who achieved their first win in the last 3 matches, raised their score to 22 points in tenth place.

On the other hand, Celta Vigo's balance froze at 21 points in 12th place. Manu Bueno scored the only goal of the match for Sevilla in the 65th minute.

Mallorca beat Girona

Real Mallorca beat Girona 2-1. Girona took the lead in the seventh minute through Van de Beek, before Mallorca equalized through Sael Larin in the 20th minute.

In the 51st minute, the same player scored the second goal for Mallorca, who completed the match with ten players after their player Vedat Muriqi was sent off in the 32nd minute.

Mallorca raised its score to 27 points in fifth place, while Girona's score froze at 22 points in ninth place.

In another match, Espanyol tied with its guest Osasuna without goals.

Despite the many scoring opportunities that were available to both sides, they failed to find the net, and the match ended in a goalless draw, with each team getting one point.
