Tottenham beat Manchester United 4-0 to reach EFL Cup semi-finals

Tottenham completed the list of teams qualified for the semi-finals of the English Football League Cup, achieving an exciting 4-3 victory over its guest, Manchester United, on Thursday evening, in the quarter-finals in the British capital, London.

Dominic Solanke opened the scoring for Tottenham in the 15th minute, while Dejan Kulusevski added for the London team in the 47th minute, before Solanke scored again, scoring the third goal for the home team and his second personal goal in the 54th minute.

Manchester United rose up, taking advantage of Tottenham's relative decline in performance, to reduce the difference after scoring two goals through Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo in the 63rd and 70th minutes.

The excitement continued in the match, after Heung-Min Son scored the fourth goal for Tottenham in the 88th minute, but Jonny Evans scored the third goal for Manchester United in the 90th minute, so the Red Team tried to snatch the equalizer and push the match into extra time, but to no avail.

This is Tottenham's second win over Manchester United in various competitions this season, after previously winning 3-0 over the team nicknamed the "Red Devils" at Old Trafford in the English Premier League last September.

With the qualifiers now complete, Tottenham will face Liverpool and Arsenal will face Newcastle United in the semi-finals of the English League Cup.
