Manchester United won the derby against Manchester City in a match held at the Etihad Stadium. Spanish coach Guardiola commented on the loss by saying, "I am not well and this is not the worst loss."

Manchester United turned a 0-1 deficit into a valuable 2-1 victory over its neighbor and host, Manchester City, on Sunday, in the 16th round of the English Premier League.

Croatian international defender Josko Gvardiol opened the scoring for the home side in the 35th minute, but United, led by their new Portuguese coach Amorim, came back strongly through another Portuguese player, Bruno Fernandes, from a penalty kick in the 88th minute, then Amad Diallo added the second in the 90th minute after a long decisive pass from Argentine defender Lisandro Martinez.

The Red Devils' tally now stands at 22 points in 12th place, while Man City's tally stopped at 27 points in fifth place.

Once again, City's defence has been the main problem, having conceded 23 goals in 10 games since the start of November, more than any other team in the top five leagues.

In a clash between two teams who are struggling even with the change in managerial position at United, City and their neighbours sought to breathe a sigh of relief in a match in which the title holders hoped to find themselves after the abyss they recently fell into.

City entered the match on the back of their loss on Wednesday in the Champions League against hosts Juventus (0-2), as part of a series of seven defeats in the last 10 matches in all competitions.

Guardiola: I'm not okay

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola commented on the loss by saying that he is not living his best days, noting that this loss is not the worst in his career with the Sky Blues over 9 years, as he faces worse in the Champions League.

Pep Guardiola took the blame for Manchester City's struggles, insisting that he was not good enough, during his talk to the media after the match, which led to City moving nine points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool.

But the City manager said after the defeat to United that he was not performing well for the club at the moment, refusing to blame Matheus Nunez for conceding the late penalty from which Bruno scored to equalise for United at 1-1.

Guardiola, who entered today's match with low morale due to the defeat at Juventus Stadium by two goals to none last week in the Champions League, said at the beginning of his conversation with the English media, "I am the coach, but I am not good enough. It is that simple."

"I have to find a way to talk to the players and train them properly and the way we have to play and the way we have to press to build attacks. I'm not good. I'm not good. That's the truth," Pep added.

However, Guardiola insisted that this defeat was not as painful as some of his team's other defeats, indicating that there is no sign of easing Manchester City's problems other than shifting focus to a trip to Aston Villa next weekend.

"Before we didn't lose so many games in two seasons. Now we did it in eight games. You have to deal with that. We lost so many games. It's difficult. But we have to move on and try to find the solution and try to win the next games," Guardiola said.

"I think in 9 years, the defeat against Manchester United in the derby today was not the hardest defeat for me. The Champions League defeats are harder. But at the moment, we need results to lift our spirits. It is getting worse and worse. I have to find the solution. So far I have not found it and that is the truth."
