Arsenal missed the opportunity to get closer to leaders Liverpool by drawing 1-1 with host Brighton on Saturday evening in the twentieth round of the English Premier League.
Ethan Nwaneri opened the scoring for the Gunners in the 16th minute, before the visitors were awarded a penalty kick that Joao Pedro successfully converted to level the score in the 61st minute.

Arsenal now have 40 points in second place, 5 points behind leaders Liverpool, who face Manchester United on Sunday.
In contrast, Brighton raised its score to 28 points in tenth place.
