The Anfield summit between Liverpool and Manchester United ended in a positive draw this evening, Sunday, in the 20th round of the English Premier League.
Amad Diallo scored a late equaliser to help Manchester United overcome their recent form and earn a 2-2 draw at Premier League leaders Liverpool.
It looked like Ruben Amorim's United side would go home empty-handed, despite a much improved performance, but Diallo scored an 80th-minute equaliser to earn his side a point.
United took the lead in the 52nd minute when Lisandro Martinez fired a powerful shot into the net from a tight angle.

But Liverpool responded seven minutes later through Cody Gakpo, scoring the equaliser before Mohamed Salah gave the home side the lead from the penalty spot.
After Diallo's equaliser, both teams had chances to win in a frantic finish to the match, but United fans were the happiest with the result.
Liverpool have 46 points from 19 games, 6 points ahead of Arsenal, while United moved up to 13th place with 23 points.
