Leaders without work!

Our Writers| 25 March, 2025 - 12:36 AM

Important developments in Yemen, particularly the designation of the Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization, the potential US attacks targeting Houthi leaders, and the series of sanctions the US Treasury has begun issuing against the Houthis, have led, for example, to major banks preparing to relocate to Aden. This development nearly ended last year's truce, when it was a government decision. The Aden government saw no reason to intervene in the conflict.

Instead of working day and night to liberate and build state institutions, Rashad al-Alimi's activities have been limited to giving press interviews, information that was supposedly provided before the outbreak of the first war in Saada, particularly those that Rashad al-Alimi claims are evidence he now has of Iranian support for the Houthis.

The disruption and destruction of Yemeni state institutions at the hands of leaders like Alimi, Al-Zubaidi, Bin Mubarak, and others can only be explained by the fact that they are serving their families in a humiliating manner at the expense of the Yemeni people. Therefore, any developments related to regional and international politics against the Houthis will have no decisive impact on weakening them, while the Yemeni leadership is unable to organize its work or even officially carry it out. This clearly means that the indicators of the collapse of the government and legitimacy are thousands of times closer to the collapse of the Houthis.
