According to a field source, the Sudanese army has taken control of the Sharoni station in central Khartoum, as well as the Khartoum 2 and Al-Usra Club neighborhoods. The army also announced control of the Nilein Towers east of the Sharoni station.
Meanwhile, the same sources reported that the Sudanese army recaptured the town of Abu Arif in Sennar State, southeastern Sudan.

These developments come hours after the commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), appeared in a new video recording, vowing to continue fighting the Sudanese army despite the setbacks his forces have suffered in recent weeks in several areas, including Khartoum and Al-Jazirah state.
In a speech addressed to Rapid Support Forces fighters, which included a reference to having been recorded during Ramadan and was broadcast via Telegram on Saturday evening, Hemeti stated that his forces would not leave the Republican Palace or Khartoum.
The Sudanese army advanced into El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state, and also recaptured the town of Al-Trus, which lies between White Nile and Sennar states.
