Watch: Israeli soldiers blow up a mosque in a village in southern Lebanon

Al Jazeera broadcast footage showing Israeli soldiers filming a mosque bombing in a village in southern Lebanon bordering Israel.

The scenes show the soldiers counting from 6 to 1, then blowing up the entire mosque, with thick smoke rising from it as a result of the Israeli bombing.

"It is a perfect and clean thing," the soldiers said after the mosque bombing. "It will remove the rule of the vile from the country, so the good people will rejoice, the righteous will exult, and the followers of the Lord will dance for joy," they added, laughing and singing.

One of the soldiers repeated, "And all evil will burn up like smoke... Look what this is... The people of Israel are alive, Amen."

The occupation forces published video clips showing the booby-trapping and detonation of specific buildings, such as the bombing of the mosque in the town of Yaroun in the Bint Jbeil district and the mosque in the town of Al-Dhahira in southern Lebanon.
