Hadramout.. Police announce the arrest of a wanted man for raping two minors in Mukalla

Al-Mukalla Police in Hadhramaut Governorate, eastern Yemen, said on Thursday that they had arrested a wanted man accused of raping two minors.

According to the Ministry of Interior website, the security services explained that “the accused (A. H. M. A.) committed the crime of rape against a minor child, six years old, in the Rukab area more than two months ago, and he had fled the city immediately after committing this heinous crime that shook public opinion in the governorate.”

The security services explained that "the accused returned and committed a second rape crime against another five-year-old child in the Mukalla area two days ago."

She pointed out that she "intensified the search and investigation process for him in various areas of the city, which enabled the men of the Al-Dees Security Center, in cooperation with the Rokab Center, to arrest him and hand him over to the security of the directorate. After investigating him, he confessed to all the charges against him."

The Director General of Hadhramaut Coast Security and Police, Brigadier General Mutia Saeed Al-Menehali, stressed the need to quickly refer his file to the judicial authorities to receive his deterrent punishment.
