Liverpool beat Tottenham 4-0 on Thursday and set up a date with Newcastle in the English League Cup final.
The Reds, the defending champions, joined Newcastle in the final match after their crushing 4-0 victory over their guests, Tottenham, in the second leg of the semi-final.
Liverpool thus overturned their 1-0 first-leg defeat and reached the final for the 15th time, where they will meet Newcastle, who beat Arsenal 2-0 in the second leg on Wednesday, as in the first leg, on March 16 at Wembley Stadium.

The Dutchman Cody Gakpo (34), the Egyptian Mohamed Salah (51 from a penalty kick), the Hungarian Dominik Szoboszlai (75) and the other Dutchman Virgil van Dijk (80) scored the four goals for Liverpool.
Liverpool beat Chelsea in last year's final 1-0 after extra time, while Newcastle lost to Manchester United 0-2 in 2023.
